August 7, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. ET Webinar: Parks, Recreation, and the ADA

This webinar offered through the Indiana ADA and Title VI Coordinators Association and AIM Indiana.

From AIM Indiana (Indiana's Municipality Association): Congratulations, your community understands the ADA and its responsibilities. You're making progress on so many fronts - sidewalks, ramps, buildings, etc. But where do you begin as you consider accessibility for your Parks and Recreation Department? This webinar will present real-life examples of the Department of Natural Resources addressing ADA compliance and how to incorporate solutions in your community. Participants will discover some of Indiana's unique outdoor features, from its dunes to the southernmost point and from the oldest Indian burial mounds to the newest accessible bird tower.

Presenter: Ric Edwards, Director of Safety and ADA Compliance, Indiana Department of Natural Resources
