January 11, 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. ET Free Webinar: A Frontline View of Two California Disasters, and how Centers for Independent Living Assisted in Evacuation and Sheltering Efforts

This is a free webinar offered through the Emergency Management and Preparedness - Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities Webinar Series, hosted by the Pacific ADA Center.

Abridged Excerpt from the Pacific ADA Center
Two significant disasters have hit Northern California over the past year - the failure of the Oroville Dam and the series of wildfires that hit Sonoma and Napa counties and reached into the city of Santa Rosa. Local Centers for Independent Living (CILs) were on the frontlines in the evacuation and sheltering efforts. This webinar will examine the experience of a local CIL in these disasters.

Free webinar but registration is required. To Register: http://adapresentations.org/schedule.php
