Online Training

There are many good resources for learning about the Americans with Disabilities Act available online (through use of the Internet). ADA-Indiana maintains a list of such training opportunities. Visit our online training page, which includes archived sessions and online courses, to find podcasts, webcasts, webinars, and online courses to learn about the ADA, or to add to your current knowledge.

Training for Beginners

The ADA National Network developed the "ADA Basic Building Blocks" to be an introductory webcourse on the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). The course covers the purpose of the ADA , the five Titles, and provides examples of applying the ADA to different situations. There are also multiple choice self-tests, a glossary of terms and acronyms, and other resources.

This is a free course but you will need to create an account. This is helpful because you can track your progress through the course. Try the "ADA Basic Building Blocks" course.
