Priorities for Request for Proposals

What are the Grant Priorities?

For 2017 Grants Program, ADA-Indiana is looking to fund projects that address ADA issues around law enforcement and first responders.

We are most interested in projects that will show specific changes and real impact. We are NOT interested in projects that focus only on awareness building. Projects that have potential for replication in other communities are also encouraged.

Priorities

The Priorities for the 2017 Request for Proposals are:

Primary Focus: Law Enforcement and First Responders

  • Specific Focus: “Effective Communication” and ADA for Law Enforcement
  • Broad Focus: ADA and Disability Issues around First Responders and Emergency Preparedness (shelters, communication, planning, etc.)
  • Community Focus: Training Program designed to engage local Law Enforcement and other First Responders on Disability and ADA Issues

But will consider proposals that are related to ADA implementation in local communities.
